Surveying LIPA distribution circuit along a transmission right of way (ROW) from Pilgrim State grounds to Commack Road on Friday, June 19, 2009.
Along the way, around 10:30 to 11:00 AM, I got nailed by a vicious unknown insect..... by 6:00 PM the area around the bite (top of my right shoulder at base of my neck) was swollen, stiff and painful. I decided discretion was the better part of valor and went to the ER :-(
